“We thank you for purchasing our coffee. The price you pay enables us to send our children to school.” — Mrs. Florence Namaja Wabire. Photo: Ben Corey-Moran, 2008
Engage your community in the challenge of building peace, prosperity and a more just world. By harnessing your community’s buying power—whether it’s through your Congregation, school, or office—you can choose to direct your money towards building a better world, simply by changing the way you buy a product you already use.
The farmers need a market for their coffee to sustain their efforts. Without a market, their dream is an idea held together by hope alone; it’s a story with no power.
Start a buying club or a fundraising drive in your community. Or, start by serving Mirembe Kawomera “Delicious Peace” Coffee in your offices, at your meetings, and during your community gatherings. You and your community have the power to join the farmers of Peace Kawomera, and to work together as partners to change the world.
Already, dozens of communities support the Mirembe Kawomera “Delicious Peace” Coffee project. We invite you to join this growing movement of mosques, Synagogues, churches, temples, schools, service clubs, and offices.

Our Partners
This is not business as usual. Mirembe Kawomera “Delicious Peace” Coffee comes directly from the hands of the farmers, to the hands of our Roastmaster, right into your cup. Now, with every pound and every cup, you, your community, and the farmers are forging a more direct relationship between producers and consumers, uniting to build a fair economy, a sustainable future, and the foundation for peace. With deep gratitude, we thank the communities who have joined us so far, and welcome others to this work of building peace and justice.
